PRESENTER INFORMATION (poster information below)
How do I register for the conference?
All speakers must register themselves for the conference using the Speaker Registration form they received with their official confirmation email. Please email cgaudet@rdinc.net if you need a registration form. October 25 is the deadline for conference registration.
Once you arrive in Portland, you should look for the “Presenters” registration counter and check-in there. If you are also a sponsor or exhibitor, please check in first at the Presenters registration counter as your information is most likely to be there.
What is the deadline for papers to be submitted for the Greenbuild 2004 Conference Proceedings CD?
Presenters are requested to submit either a paper or presentation. The deadline for presenters to submit papers or presentations for the official conference CD is October 15, 2004. Acceptable formats include: text, Power Point, and Adobe Acrobat PDF's. Click here for the presentation guidelines and click here for the paper guidelines.
Presenters who will be participating in a session designated as a panel are not expected to submit a paper or presentation, but you are welcome to submit one for the conference proceedings.
All papers and presentations will be available to conference attendees on a CD that will be available for order on-site at registration. Each session will be audio recorded and, on the CD, the recording will be linked with the PowerPoint presentations provided by the presenters.
The papers and presentations will also be posted on the Greenbuild website after the conference.
How can I request audio-visual equipment for my presentation?
Each breakout room will be equipped with a LCD projector and screen and a podium microphone. You are required to coordinate your own presentation on your or another speaker's laptop--a laptop will not be provided for you. Please fill out an A/V request form if you require additional equipment and return it to Amy Henderson via fax (703-525-8557) or email (Amy.Henderson@conferon.com) by September 10, 2004.
On the second page of the Audio Visual Request form you will see a Session Recording Release Form. The sessions at Greenbuild will be recorded and made available to our conference attendees following the conference on the conference CD. Unless we hear from you in writing by September 10, 2004 (via the A/V Form) we will assume that you have granted us permission to record your presentation and make it available to conference attendees after the conference. There is no reason to return this form if you agree to have our presentation recorded.
Click here to download the A/V request form and fax or email your request to Amy Henderson. All A/V requests must be submitted by September 10.

Will there be any awards given for any Posters?
Greenbuild poster presentations provide an opportunity for an in-depth exchange of information on a one-to-one basis. They are an excellent medium for the presentation of case studies, un-built projects, research findings and unusual or innovative topics. Elegantly prepared with graphics/photos and text, poster presentations may address any aspect of green building.
A total of five poster awards will be given: One for Best in Show, three Awards of Merit, and one People’s Choice Award.
