The 2004 GreenBuild Host Committee proudly welcomes you to the Rose City - Portland, Oregon in November 2004.
Portland's green building activity is a catalyst for a vibrant green economy and culture in the Pacific Northwest. We invite you to experience the many shades of green our city has to offer: from fine restaurants featuring locally-grown fare to world-class museums, year-round skiing, microbrews and some of the nation's most proactive green building incentive programs. This is a city where great urban planning and design creates places where people want to work, live and play. In Portland, the natural world comes together as a matter of course with people, business and ecological design.
Portland's host committee is planning some unique excursions for 2004 conference-goers: green building tours, cultural events showcasing our outstanding local food, beer, wine, music and dance and outdoor activities that will connect you to some of the region's finest natural resources.
